February 10, 2016

It’s time for the big reveal! Here’s the breakdown of First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard employee community efforts in 2015.

30,580 Total Hours Volunteered

Volunteer3PREMIER employees donated 30,580 hours to different philanthropic causes in 2015. This includes school and sport-related volunteering and service clubs, community events, and board and committee participation.

We’re proud to be a top company for employee volunteering and mentoring. First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard promotes a culture of giving, and our employees help us fulfill our vision to help our communities grow.

1,110 Hours Spent Mentoring

PREMIER employees dedicated 1,110 hours to mentoring last year. One of the largest organizations our employees volunteer for is Lutheran Social Services. Through their mentoring services, employees spend one-on-one time with elementary, middle, and high school students at school.

“Mentoring matters because kids matter! Mentoring holds a special place in my heart because I get to see the immediate impact on the life of a child. I get to see her face light up when she comes walking down the hall and sees me each week. I get a fabulous weekly lunch date. Mentoring is important to me not only for the impact that a small amount of my time makes on my mentee’s life, but I get so much more out of it, too!”

— Jody, PREMIER Bankcard Employee

600 Organizations Impacted

PREMIER employees assisted 600 organizations in 2015, including Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, youth sport teams, Special Olympics, United Way, and the Teddy Bear Den. Meals on Wheels alone received assistance from over 109 PREMIER volunteers!

We’re so proud of our teams and the difference they are making in the community. We look forward to increasing the impact we have on others in 2016.
